Responsible for setting up and implementing development opportunities for emerging directors. Employing and managing all staff directors and resident directors at the NT. Watching and feeding back on work across the country. Liaising with the literary team to support writers on attachment at The Studio, directing readings as appropriate and attending NT script meetings. Supporting Artists through their time at the Studio and generally contributing to the artistic makeup of the building.

With responsibility for planning, developing and delivering the artistic programming, in conjunction with the artistic team. Responsible for managing the literary team, commissioning writers, initiating and delivering a wide range of writer development activities.
